GROHE Spain opens its second GIVE school

GROHE opens its second GIVE school in Spain because GROHE is committed to training future plumbing and sanitary professionals. We have developed the GIVE Program (GROHE Installer Vocational Training and Education), a new approach to support the future of new installers.

As part of this action, we awarded both the participant and winner of SpainSkills 2021 in the plumbing category, as well as the school he represented, the Guindàvols Institute of Lleida.

As a reward, the institute became part of the GIVE Program, with a training room with working GROHE products, books and materials for students to receive classes taught by Grohe technicians to give young installers the opportunity to receive a certificate.

Since its opening in March, the GIVE School has hosted the training of 16 students, who graduated in June. In addition, they received the internationally recognized GROHE certificate upon completion of the training designed by the company.

The company thus strengthens its commitment to the new generation of professionals to counteract the shortage of qualified installers in the sanitary industry and, at the same time, give back to society and offer young people a prosperous future. It does all this through the GIVE program that collaborates with 26 institutions in the EMENA region, offering training in plumbing, which gives students a good foundation for a successful start in their professional careers.
