Milan Design Week meets GROHE SPA

Designers and creative minds celebrating GROHE SPA Launch

Milan, a cultural hub not just in Italy, but for the whole world. A city that reflects the perfect balance between history and modernity, it is the home to the magnificent Duomo Di Milano, the breathtaking Leonardo da Vinci’s last supper and most importantly for GROHE one of the world’s best design scenes.

From April 18 to 21, 2023, architects, designers, and creatives from all over the world gathered to celebrate the GROHE SPA launch all while basking in the magnificent beauty of the cultural hub that is Milan. On the first day we celebrated the Modern Milan, like most Italian cities, Milan reflects rich history at every corner, but what truly distinguishes it, is the ever-present modernism, which we highlighted. Guests enjoyed a unique experience dining together at Eataly, a restaurant all about eating Italian food and living the Italian way. It was a lovely day filled with reunions, a fun ambiance, and creative minds connecting all thanks to the GROHE experience.

The second day was sponsored by the classical Milan and its famous landmarks. Visiting the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy’s oldest active shopping gallery, drinking with a view of the Duomo Cathedral were some of the highlights of the day. It ended with the MENA Gala dinner hosted at Ristorante Savini, a unique and historic monument at the grand Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The guests enjoyed the fascinating journey through Italian cuisine, all while being entertained by a live violin solo that captivated them and elevated the atmosphere.

The 20th of April, our esteemed guests visited EDRA, an institution that creates exclusive, and timeless designs with the highest quality.  We spent the day lounging on incredible sofas, and armchairs, observing brilliant products, not just furniture. These creations are all considered to be an unmistakable Italian heritage that has wowed the world with their unique designs. The second stop also focused on the beauty of design, we stopped at Fondazione Prada, an organization that celebrates ideas, and reinventions with cultural exhibitions, 3d art and timeless vintage pieces. The day ended on a high note at Pinacoteca Di Brera, surrounded by fellow designers, beautiful lights, live musical entertainment, and an overall ethereal atmosphere.

The last day was a historical one, focusing on Milan’s most notable monuments with a guided tour inside the Duomo Cathedral, and a stunning view of the historical city to end this unforgettable one-of-a-kind design journey.
