Joint clean-up mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the first episode of our mini-series, we are travelling to the Bočac Reservoir in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this reservoir, the extent of global water pollution by plastic becomes particularly clear: it is one of the most polluted in the region and poses a major problem for the smooth operation of the Bočac Hydro Power Plant. But we are here for another reason, we are fulfilling a promise from our Made for Your Water campaign: We committed ourselves to collect one kilo of waste from European waters for every GROHE Blue purchased between August and December 2021. How many tons we have collected together with everwave and its garbage collecting boat “CollectiX”, how the clean-up technology works and what this means for the people living near the reservoir, you’ll learn in the video.
