Hygiene optimisation for sanitary facilities

In this session we introduce hygiene technology in general, the implications for manufacturers, and the development of innovative solutions. We’ll look at how such solutions help achieve a high standard of hygiene in both bathroom and kitchen settings. We’ll also cover other essential design and specification issues that are now of vital consideration for all future project schemes. Last but not least we will highlight the main hygiene standards and regulations related to bathroom fittings to assist the specification process and finish off by giving a real life case study of a prestigious project in the UK. Water saving without compromising performance

This educational session gives an understanding of why we need to save water from a global perspective. It details some of requirements for green building standards including BREEAM, LEED, ESTIDAMA and the Code for Sustainable Homes. Water Saving solutions are discussed for each of the drawoff points in the bathroom and kitchen as well as touch free public washroom solutions including infra red, self closing taps and flushing controls.
