Düsseldorf, March 16 2021 – The kitchen is no longer a purely functional space. It has become the heart of the home and, for many, a multi-functional meeting place for family and friends. As a result, the kitchen space is now more than ever an expression of personal taste and consumers are increasingly seeking configuration options and individualisation. This also applies to one of the busiest zones in the kitchen – the 60 centimetres surrounding the sink. In line with its Perfect Match philosophy, GROHE is setting new design standards with a co-ordinated range of taps and PVD sinks in matching colours. Consumers can choose from a versatile selection of carefully chosen colours ranging from from the golden Cool Sunrise and copper-toned Warm Sunset to the urban look of Hard Graphite – enabling full freedom when it comes to designing their perfect kitchen .

It is key for us to find a balance between the latest interior trends, timeless design and our uncompromisingly high quality standards.”

GROHE SmartControl: Versatile & minimalistic

The GROHE SmartControl range is a special highlight in GROHE’s kitchen tap portfolio and has been designed as a real statement of style and functionality. The range offers a style for every aesthetic, allowing consumers to choose from three designs and up to 10 different colours and finishes in the GROHE Colours Collection. For example, the organic Essence design is available in a variety of attractive colours - from Cool Sunrise to Warm Sunset or Hard Graphite, and in polished or brushed versions too - and therefore can seamlessly fit any existing decor.

GROHE SmartControl does not only impress with its looks, but also with its functionality. Instead of a lever, the SmartControl kitchen tap offers intuitive push-and-turn operation. To start the water flow, the user simply needs to push the button, which can also be done easily with the elbow or wrist - ideal for moments when hands are full of pots and pans or unclean from cooking. By turning the button, the amount of water can be adjusted precisely from the water-saving eco-jet spray to the powerful jet stream. Additional pull-out variants complete the SmartControl portfolio and offer users maximum convenience in the kitchen.

GROHE PVD sinks: Harmony in colour, form and function

Matching the SmartControl range, GROHE offers a selection of undermounted PVD sinks which are available in stainless steel as well as in Brushed Cool Sunrise, Brushed Hard Graphite and Brushed Warm Sunset for a more personalised and striking sink set up. The GROHE Colours Collection is made by an innovative manufacturing process that not only creates beautiful designs but also extremely durable surfaces. The technology originally stems from space engineering and has set a new standard in surface quality. The surfaces are three times harder than chrome and ten times more resistant to scratches, which guarantees a brilliant rich colour and the ability to withstand the toughest demands of everyday kitchen use. Moreover, they make daily tasks even more pleasant as all PVD sinks feature spacious bowls of 20cm depth - meaning the user has plenty of space to clean large pots and pans with ease. Additionally, the built-in GROHE Whisper Technology minimises any noise to the rest of the home.
